My Jungle Garden

I am so impressed with with how well my little deck garden is doing now.  Here are some new pictures to show it off.  Hope you agree it is doing well.

2010 Improvements

Well, Dad is busy as always with assorted outside projects.

He has finished the planting of our entire back yard and is onto the front flower bed improvements.

You can see the backyard is covered with shredded straw – hopefully grass will appear soon!

And here is the most exciting news – my new porch garden – complete with tomatoes, peppers, lettuce and herbs.  Becky sent me a hanging tomato planter but that is not hanging yet so there is one lone tomato plant waiting for a new home.  The Lape’s gave me the tomato plants.  Yeah!!!!

July 2008

Filed under: Our House — admin @ 5:30 pm

The month of July is gone and it flew by.

First we had to finish up our house projects (and we almost finished – at least the house looked done for our busy month of company). Dad’s brothers and their wives arrived for a brothers reunion. We had a great time – visiting, traveling and getting to know New York and each other better.

Then we flew to Utah to visit our family and to take our son, Daniel to the MTC. The next week he decided that he was not ready to go on a mission and so he is now preparing for school, hunting an apartment and getting organized for his life in Utah.

Then home again where we got ready for a visit from our son, Matthew, and his family. We had a great time on all our adventures and look forward to another visit to Utah the end of August where we will witness the marriage of our son, Andrew, to his fiancee, Andrea. Another busy month.

Once life slows down a little I will get some pictures up for all to see, but for now …
