Christmas 2009 was very quiet…
Daniel had a very kitchen Christmas with a new high tech thermometer from Angela and Scott and a scale to measure accurately from Mom and Dad and a sifter from Santa.
Carl got his favorite candy in a large bar – Take 5, and new pajamas. He also got a tickets to go on a cruise around Manhattan on a day of his choosing.
I got some new fancy iced beverage glasses to go with the china that I recently got that belonged to Carl’s mother. They are beautiful and look so nice with the china.
And then the day after we woke up to find our tree laying on the floor.
Carl took it outside to fix it and it became our Charlie Brown special …
All things come out fine in the end and we had a wonderful Christmas despite the tree or because of it. Perhaps this one will be one of our fondest memories – in the future.
