So the day after our Christmas when we came home from work we noticed that there is now a Christmas tree in the lobby of our apartment building.

I took this picture with my phone so it is not as clear as it might be but my phone is more reliable than my camera right now and I had it with me. There are also strings of tinsel in the elevators and lower halls. Perhaps they are celebrating the twelve days of Christmas European style starting the day after our Christmas on December 26th and ending at their Orthodox Christmas of January 7th. I don’t know but the fireworks are also going strong at night. I expect it will be Christmas here for a while and that is fine with me.
